About the role

We are looking for a Fulfillment Manager to join our newly opened Kampala Office to help us coordinate newly placed orders and deliveries to our customers. This is a new role at our team, so there may be new challenges as well as new opportunities. So we're looking for someone with the initiative to think critically about their work and solve problems as they come up.

Skills you need to bring

• Excellent Academic record in Business/Supply Chain Management or any related field
• Familiarity with e-commerce and its components.
• Strong knowledge of how to use a computer to simplify your work. Our systems are mostly digital.
• Good customer relationship management skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills— you are highly self-motivated and driven to go above and beyond what is required.
• Work well in a small, tight team, and can grow with us as we grow the company.

What You'll Achieve

• Join us at a magical time - Make a big impact: We're still a small team, so you'll easily get to know all of our incredible teammates. You'd come in at a pivotal stage to make sure our fulfillment office is able to develop a fully operational fulfillment pipeline.
• Supervise and develop fulfillment policy: Oversee all aspects of e-commerce order receipt, order preparation, and order fulfillment to the satisfaction of the customer. Design and develop fulfillment policies and procedures and ensure that orders are received, distributed, and completed in a timely, accurate and satisfactory manner.
• Leadership and coordination at scale: Develop training programs for company staff involved in fulfillment activities. Provide leadership to direct reports and lead through influence with many team members involved in order fulfillment.
• Work with a world-class team solving real-life problems: Our small team of people from Uganda and all over the world, solving a problem for businesses that you will probably eventually use.
